Our products

We describe each fragrance — its notes, family and character — as accurately as we can. Scent is personal and develops differently on each person’s skin, so your experience may vary. Colours of bottles and packaging may look slightly different on screen.

Where we say a fragrance is “inspired by” another, that describes the scent direction only. The Scent Theory is an independent house and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the brands or fragrances mentioned; their names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Using fragrance safely

Our products are for external use only. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, check the notes and test a small amount first; stop using a product if irritation occurs. Keep away from eyes, flames and children, and store away from heat and direct sunlight.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees and include all applicable taxes. Payment is taken online through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets); we never see or store your card details. Offers and discount codes apply as described on the site and at checkout, can’t be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time.

Orders

Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, a price was displayed in error, or we suspect fraud — and will refund any payment in full.

Your account

Keep your password private; you’re responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.

The AI scent finder

The scent finder suggests fragrances from our collection based on what you type. Its suggestions are recommendations, not promises about how a scent will smell on you.

Our content

The site’s text, images, logo and design belong to The Scent Theory and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Thane, Maharashtra. Please contact us first — most things can be resolved quickly.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to it.
