What does The Scent Theory sell?
- 18 Eau de Parfum fragrances (50 mL, 100 mL, ₹599 to ₹1,099), 10 attars (12 mL, 24 mL, ₹449 to ₹799) and 6 gift boxes, sold online across India. Shop the collection
What are “inspired-by” perfumes?
- 28 of our fragrances are our own compositions inspired by the scent direction of well-known perfumes — the product page names the inspiration. The Scent Theory is an independent house, not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands, and the bottles, names and packaging are our own. How inspired-by perfumes work
What is the difference between an Eau de Parfum and an attar?
- An Eau de Parfum is a spray: fragrance oils blended with perfumer’s alcohol. An attar is a concentrated perfume oil applied with the stopper, a tradition from India and the Middle East. Many of our scents come in both forms. Eau de Parfum vs attar
How do I choose a fragrance online?
- Start with a note family you already like — fresh, aquatic, floral, fruity, woody, musk, amber or Arabic — then read the top, heart and base notes on each product page. You can also describe what you like in the AI scent finder on the home page. How to choose a perfume online
Which fragrances suit Indian summers?
- Fresh, citrus and aquatic fragrances usually feel lightest in heat and humidity; richer woody, amber and Arabic scents are often kept for evenings and cooler months. Summer fragrance guide
Are there bundle offers?
- Any 3 × 50 mL for ₹1,500; Any 3 × 100 mL for ₹2,200. Bundles apply automatically in the bag to any mix of fragrances in that size.
Orders & delivery
Do you deliver across India?
- Yes — to every PIN code our courier partners serve. Delivery is complimentary on every order. Shipping policy
How long does delivery take?
- Orders are packed and dispatched within 2–3 working days of payment (Monday to Saturday). Most arrive within 3–7 working days after dispatch, depending on your city.
How can I pay?
- Online through Razorpay: UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets. We don’t offer cash on delivery. We never see or store your card details.
Can I track my order?
- Yes. When your order ships we email the courier name and tracking number, and you can follow it from your order page.
Can I cancel my order?
- You can cancel any time before it is dispatched — email us with your order number and we refund you in full. Once shipped, an order can no longer be cancelled.
Returns & refunds
Can I return a perfume?
- We accept claims for items that arrive damaged, leaking or wrong. Write to thescenttheoryin@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, an unboxing video and photos. We can’t take returns for change of mind or opened bottles. Returns & refunds policy
How long do refunds take?
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. We start them within 2 working days of approval; your bank usually takes 5–7 working days to show them.
Scent card & member offers
What is the scent card?
- A free member card you create when you sign up. It gives 20% off your first order, 15% off one order in your birthday month, 2% back as credits on delivered orders, and recommendations matched to your taste. Create your scent card
Do member offers combine with discount codes?
- Member offers combine with bundle offers. A member offer and a discount code don’t combine — whichever saves more is applied automatically. Full terms
